L’Oréal

Beautiful faces, champagne bubbles and the swirl of a tango dancer’s skirt – all were on display at the Donald W. Reynolds Center for American Art and Portraiture for the L’Oreal American Academy of Dermatology event. To promote L’Oreal’s sponsorship of a subsequent event in Buenos Aires, they wanted a South American feel to the event. L’Oreal asked for a contemporary and edgy feel combined with pure beauty – and CSI delivered!

“I knew from past experience that I was in good hands, but I have to say that this year we reached new heights…the attention to detail, taste level and organizational abilities are beyond anything I have ever experienced.“
-Susan R. Davidowitz, Senior Vice President

CSI managed transportation from 35 hotels, complete with uniformed dispatchers to check credentials as guests boarded motor coaches at each stop. CSI staff distributed custom programs to L’Oreal guests describing the party’s theme, the building’s history and featured works of art.

Upon arrival, CSI greeters led guests up the steps into the historic museum dramatically lit in pink and purple hues. Modern décor was brought in to complement the beautiful interior marble and architecture of the Greek revival building. Black metal and glass tables displayed cold champagne and Prosecco as a welcome drink on the 2nd floor landing.

Traveling up to the 3rd floor, the bright strains of the Gypsy Strings quartet beckoned guests. In honor of the beautiful art showcased in the museum, CSI created original artwork for the New Face of Dermatology – custom cutouts of the L’Oreal logo positioned in the Great Hall and dramatically lit. A quick glance turned into a double take as guests tried to distinguish the faces of beautiful L’Oreal print ad models.
